The problem with this amp was humming, cracking and power loss. In 40 years, there is almost no maintenance done, so it could use an overhaul. The supply and cathode bypass capacitors are replaced by TADs. The tube sockets of the power tubes were worn, so we replaced these also. New grid resistors. Some 100K resistors in the power supply where out of specs. All tubes are replaced by a new set of Tung Sol tubes. The bias / humbalance adjusted and the amp is ready for use. Ready to rock!
